Manager of Quality Assurance
Zenix Aerospace is a global leader in aerospace engineering and manufacturing, seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to oversee quality control and assurance processes. This role involves planning, coordinating, and directing the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with established standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Monitor quality processes and method requirements, including inspection techniques. Determine quality improvement parameters using methods relevant to manufacturing processes
Maintain quality systems in accordance with ISO 9001/IS13100 & AS9100 standards and/or other standards that apply. Assure quality contract and regulatory compliance through policies, procedures and effective monitoring of processes
Oversee audits, schedule of audits, and management review of ISO 9001 ISO 9001/IS13100 & AS9100 and customer audits
Direct team to ensure technical competence with measuring capabilities including CMM, hand inspection and NDT. Also ensure team is current with all technical requirements to meet industry and customer requirements
Develop, initiate, or apply standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
Direct team to embed SPC into the site operations
Develop and establish strategic objectives and goals to improve overall quality performance; implement objectives and procedures concerning the quality processes
Formulate and maintain quality objectives per established standards and/or customer requirements. Use Strategy Deployment and other mechanisms to drive team to meet objectives
Determine staffing requirements and direct or oversee personnel processes
Develop and improve measuring capabilities ensuring that technology and capabilities meet industry and customer standards as well as drive improvements into the operation

Determine the requirements and provide for the review and assignment, of Quality Assurance staff functions to establish an environment which fosters teamwork and the utilization of statistical and analytical skills to achieve the highest potential of the organization in support of the business’s objectives
Develop and direct the implementation of measuring and monitoring systems to evaluate the Quality Assurance group, department, and individual employee performance to stated objectives
Direct and coordinate activities concerned with quality assurance functions and employees, to include, recruiting, managing, training and development, evaluating performance, work schedules and assigning specific duties and providing employee discipline
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to ensure quality methods are implemented and maintained
Oversee customer concerns and/or initiate root cause analysis. Review contract and purchase orders to ensure quality specifications and requirements are communicated and manufacturing plans, product verification tests and inspections are completed
Establish and maintain relations and communications with customer procurement and quality assurance administrative or engineering representatives to promote the Division’s capability and potential; and to ward off potential problems or conflicts
Ensure that the SUMRB process is robust including 5Why’s, RCCA and completing RCCA effectivity. QE’s are to maintain MRR’s at SUMRB’s and ensure that all action owners understand open CA’s and due dates
Manages and guides efforts to continuously improve company performance related to quality system, cost and delivery requirements
Develop and/or initiate new approaches to solve problems, issues or concerns identified during quality activities. Oversee projects that support quality systems and processes and analyze statistical process controls (SPC) to provide recommended improvements. Monitor statistical process controls. Oversee program to evaluate analytical testing, accuracy measurements and performance testing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of experience in quality and/or manufacturing industry; aerospace preferred
3-5 years prior supervisory/management experience required
Preferred
Experience with ISO, Six Sigma, AS9100 and statistical process controls preferred
