Responsibilities
Review and assess Mariell’s existing jewelry line and brand aesthetic
Collaborate on design direction informed by sales data and wholesale feedback
Deliver 5–10 product concepts per month (flexible) suitable for sampling and production
Provide design outputs in a format appropriate for factory development, such as:
Hand sketches or digital sketches
CAD concepts
Design specifications or tech details (format flexible based on designer workflow)
Incorporate feedback and iterate designs efficiently
Communicate clearly with a remote team and overseas factory partners
Optionally contribute veil or non-jewelry accessory concepts
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in jewelry design with products that have gone to production
Familiar with factory workflows, sampling, and manufacturing constraints
Comfortable designing across multiple price tiers
Self-directed and reliable in a remote, contract-based environment
Portfolio or examples of jewelry designs (especially pieces that went to production)
Brief overview of your production/manufacturing experience
Preferred engagement structure (retainer vs per-design)
