Responsibilities

Develops geospatial solutions using tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source platforms
Creates interactive maps and dashboards using web technologies (Leaflet, Mapbox, etc.)
Processes and analyzes spatial data using Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools
Supports and troubleshoots GIS systems and solutions
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Participates in Agile development cycles and contributes to team sprints
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Programming, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or related field, or
In lieu of education, 4 years of relevant experience
Experience with Python, JavaScript, or R for geospatial analysis
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to open-source GIS tools (GeoServer, PostGIS)
Understanding of spatial data formats and standards (GeoJSON, OGC)

Preferred

Internship or project experience in GIS or spatial analytics
Master's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or Computer Programming
