VP - Technology Leader
SoTalent is seeking a VP, Loyalty Technology Leader to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise loyalty platforms. This role involves defining and executing a transformative loyalty technology roadmap while leading a diverse technology organization to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Define and execute a forward-looking loyalty technology roadmap aligned with long-term enterprise objectives
Ensure loyalty technologies and operations align with overarching business processes and strategies
Drive measurable business outcomes through innovative loyalty technology solutions
Advance loyalty platforms and features to remain competitive and adaptable to future needs
Lead, develop, and inspire large, diverse, and multi-level technology teams
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and engagement
Build and maintain strong morale while guiding teams through change and transformation
Serve as a role model for collaborative, high-performance leadership
Enhance and evolve enterprise loyalty capabilities via a centralized rewards platform
Deliver critical files, APIs, and integrations enabling end-to-end loyalty connectivity across clients, internal platforms, and third-party systems
Lead complex loyalty platform launches, migrations, and enhancements using Agile methodologies
Establish and enforce best practices for application release management, change management, outage management, and operational controls
Partner closely with loyalty, growth, marketing, product, architecture, IT, and vendor stakeholders
Foster strong peer, cross-functional, and cross-business collaboration to drive operational excellence
Communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior leaders and diverse audiences
Manage and mitigate operational and delivery risks associated with loyalty program execution
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and corporate standards
Oversee delivery timelines, budgets, quality, and vendor performance
Own financial accountability for loyalty technology programs and resource optimization
Support special initiatives and projects as required

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of IT experience
OR High School Diploma / GED with 15+ years of IT experience
5+ years of loyalty-specific experience (e.g., large-scale IT loyalty implementations, consulting, or managed application delivery)
10+ years managing large direct and matrixed technology teams
10+ years of experience in payments or closely related financial services environments
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Preferred
Deep expertise in loyalty systems architecture, platform launches, and migrations
Hands-on experience with leading loyalty platforms (Fiserv Premier Loyalty Platform strongly preferred)
Strong Agile delivery leadership experience across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
Exposure to or strong interest in AI-driven insights and emerging loyalty technologies
Familiarity with marketing strategies and analytics-driven loyalty solutions
Proven ability to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
Exceptional communication skills, including executive-level presentations and negotiations
Strong results orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly matrixed environment
