Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State and local environmental health and safety regulations
Monitoring continuous improvement of our safety culture and reduction of accidental loss impact on the operational goals for the company
Consulting with business units to determine and accomplish company objectives utilizing a variety of programs and processes across business units
Performing hazard analysis, audits, inspections and accident investigations to determine root cause while ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Analyzing, developing and tracking metrics and key leading indicators to produce results and meet strategic goals
Collaborating with regional EHS and sustainability teams to facilitate programs and serve as a knowledgeable resource
Completing administrative reporting and related clerical duties
Qualification
Required
18 years of age or older
Possess relevant work experience
Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrate familiarity with occupational safety and general industry regulations or standards
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Lead and motivate a team of employees
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Willingness to travel while working a flexible schedule
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
Preferred
Prior work experience or education in a safety/environmental/sustainability or Law Enforcement related field
Prior work experience or education in OSHA, EPA, safety, operations, sustainability, communications, environmental compliance, risk management, business or a related field
Possess certification or have prior industry training, such as OSHA 30hr, Certified Safety Professional, Qualified Environmental Professional or Risk Management
