Human Resources Coordinator

Komatsu is a world leader in construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment, and they are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support their HR department. The role involves coordinating interviews, managing candidate correspondence, and overseeing employee events while maintaining HR systems and assisting with various HR projects.

Responsibilities

Schedule interviews and manage candidate correspondence
Perform data entry, transactions, and audit in ADP
Support employee onboarding
Update positions descriptions and job postings
Coordinate meetings and visits which includes preparing meeting space, managing meals and accommodations, preparing meeting materials, and ensuring space always presents well
Arranging travel such as lodging and transportation for interview candidates, relocating new hires, and HR team
Assist recruiting, onboarding, and coordination of student programs
Oversee employee events such as the holiday party, wellness and cultural awareness events, and employee engagement activities
Maintain HR systems such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, and AcuMax
Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, letters, presentations, and other documentation as needed
Assist with a variety HR projects that support the business and HR Team
General administrative tasks
Adhere to federal and state regulations
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Required

Associate degree in business related field required or equivalent experience
A minimum of six (6) months of HR co-op experience within the ABS Human Resources Department or at least three (3) years of Human Resources experience outside of ABS
If candidate does not have HR co-op experience with ABS, a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a corporate office and/or manufacturing environment is also required
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail and accurate work
Ability to handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and MS Forms

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred
ADP experience preferred
