Responsibilities
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy, aligning it with our long-term business goals and growth objectives
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions
Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial analysis, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Generate timely and accurate financial reports for executive management and the board, providing actionable insights for business performance improvement
Evaluate and manage financial risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets and reputation
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting principles
Leverage prior experience in the software industry to assess and strengthen the company's commercial posture, protecting sensitive financial data and intellectual property from potential threats
Collaborate with the executive team in identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships to drive business expansion and diversification
Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and competencies
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive financial management experience including, ideally, a minimum of 3-5 years of CFO experience
Private Equity backed Portfolio Company Experience; Exit experience preferred
M&A Experience
Technical proficiency in SaaS / enterprise technology revenue recognition, with an understanding of ERP, CRM and other relevant billing dependencies
