Responsibilities
Own the Master Technical Schedule
Build and maintain the end-to-end program schedule across:
Hardware development (EE/ME, EVT → DVT → PVT)
Software development (firmware, embedded, cloud, apps)
Manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain readiness
Production builds and inventory planning
Track dependencies, critical paths, and downstream impacts
Drive Cross-Functional Execution
Serve as the execution hub between:
Software Engineering
Hardware Engineering
Manufacturing & Sourcing
Run program reviews, milestone check-ins, and risk reviews
Keep teams aligned on priorities, scope, and timing
Surface Risk Early
Identify schedule risk, resource constraints, and dependency conflicts
Proactively propose mitigation plans and tradeoffs
Escalate issues early with clear options and context
Provide Leadership Visibility
Deliver accurate, high-signal reporting on:
Schedule health
Slips and root causes
Impacts to production, inventory, or revenue
Translate technical execution into clear business implications
Support Production Readiness
Coordinate technical milestones with supplier lead times and manufacturing plans
Ensure engineering changes are reflected in build and inventory schedules
Help transition products cleanly from development to production
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience as a Technical Project Manager / Program Manager
Hands-on experience managing hardware + software programs together
Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles (EVT/DVT/PVT)
Strong understanding of software release cycles
Strong understanding of manufacturing and sourcing constraints
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfortable partnering closely across engineering and operations
Proven ability to manage complex schedules with real dependencies
Preferred
Experience in automotive, robotics, consumer electronics, or other hardware-centric products
Exposure to manufacturing ramp, supplier coordination, and inventory planning
Ability to read and understand technical documentation (PRDs, schematics, specs)
Startup or scale-up experience where plans change and execution matters
