Assistant Professor of Accounting
The California State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Accounting for the Orfalea College of Business. The successful candidate will be expected to excel in teaching, maintain a productive research program, and participate in university service activities.

Qualification
Required
Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in accounting from an accredited institution
Academically qualified under AACSB standards
Ph.D. should be awarded by the time of appointment in Fall 2026
Record of high-quality research published in peer-reviewed journals, or clear evidence of the potential to establish such a record
Evidence of (or potential for) excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Preferred
Expertise in the area of auditing or accounting information systems
Varying levels of experience from all areas of expertise in accounting
