CEIPAL TEST PHP Developer

CEIPAL is seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join their development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining dynamic web applications and backend systems using PHP and related technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices
Integrate third-party APIs and services
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) including schema design and query optimization
Ensure application security and data protection
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Assist in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required

Strong proficiency in PHP (7.x or 8.x)
Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and database design
Familiarity with MVC architecture
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Understanding of web security best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.Sc)
B.Tech
Zend Certified PHP Engineer
PHP Certification by W3Schools or similar platforms
Laravel Certification
AWS Certified Developer - Associate
MySQL Database Certification
2-5 years of professional experience in PHP development (depending on seniority level)
Proven experience developing production-ready web applications

Preferred

Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular)
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of Linux server environments
Experience with PHPUnit or other testing frameworks
