Responsibilities
Leads, motivates, and empowers a team of 4-6 claims representatives, driving strong daily execution and high-performance results
Strengthens team performance through consistent coaching, training and development, backed by clear KPI-based performance feedback
Provides technical guidance to teams regarding coverage and liability investigations, reserving, quality file handling, customer service, and damage evaluations
Partners with leadership to enhance processes, support continuous improvement and assist with training on procedures/role-specific responsibilities
Adheres to all company policies, best practices, and procedures
Swift handling of highly complex customer conflicts or issues
Performs additional duties and special projects assigned to support departmental goals
Guides and motivates a fully remote team, using digital tools and real-time collaboration to keep everyone connected, engaged, and performing at their best
Qualification
Required
Extensive knowledge of casualty claims handling required
Minimum of four (4+) years or more of previous claims handling experience required
Superior knowledge of claims handling in any or all the following jurisdictions: Texas, Arizona, Ohio, and Tennessee
Highly organized with standout communication skills that inspire clarity, momentum, and results
Bachelor's degree is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Preferred
Bodily Injury claim handling experience preferred
Proficiency with JW Filehandler a plus
