Responsibilities

Serves as the technical advisor/team leader, applying professional engineering knowledge to the testing and test interpretation of a wide range of hydropower equipment
Reviews results of electrical equipment tests conducted by others to ensure conformance with test program requirements
Participates in periodic hydropower equipment inspections
Serves as a subject-matter expert for hydropower equipment condition assessment

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent education
Combination of education and experience that demonstrates a thorough knowledge of physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering
Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Evidence of having successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination
Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences
Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field with at least 1 year of professional engineering experience
