Qualification

Required

An advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Sociology, or closely aligned discipline with a broad knowledge of sociological topics, by the time of appointment
Evidence of successfully instructing introductory sociology and social research courses at the undergraduate level
Expertise in quantitative social science research and methods, including social statistics using modern statistical software tools (R is preferred)
Experience with community-based research in an urban setting
Experience with urban sociology and/or the sociology of business and work is a plus
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
