Responsibilities

Write clean, scalable, and efficient Python code
Design and implement back-end components and integrate them with user-facing elements
Design and maintain scripts for data processing, reporting, and system integrations
Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts using Python and SQL for data manipulation, reporting, and automation tasks
Work with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, to manage data storage solutions
Create and manage database queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes
Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements to understand business needs, provide technical solutions and develop tools to improve efficiency
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of existing scripts and data issues
Test and debug programs to ensure performance and reliability
Contribute to ongoing improvement of system performance, scalability, and reporting accuracy
Document scripts, queries, and system processes clearly and consistently
Ensure all solutions are secure and comply with industry standards and company policies

Required

Preferred

Experience working in a collection agency or related financial services environment
Familiarity with FACS or similar collection management software
Experience with AWS services and cloud-based architecture
Experience with APIs, data transformation tools, or report automation platforms
Knowledge of compliance and data security best practices in the collections industry
