They are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support construction-phase execution, acting as a technical owner’s representative to ensure EPC delivery aligns with approved designs, schedules, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities
Support construction-phase execution of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects (100–400 MW)
Act as a technical liaison between internal engineering teams, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders
Review and validate IFC drawings, electrical one-lines/three-lines, PV layouts, and construction documentation
Track and support resolution of RFIs, technical issues, and design changes during construction
Coordinate with EPCs to ensure engineering deliverables, schedules, and technical requirements are met
Evaluate technical impacts of changes on cost, schedule, and performance
Provide constructability and technical input on limited development-phase projects as bandwidth allows
Participate in occasional site visits for inspections, coordination meetings, and issue resolution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
5+ years supporting utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS projects
Direct experience working with EPC contractors during active construction
Strong understanding of construction-phase workflows and EPC responsibilities
Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes
Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Excel, and PVsyst
Ability to manage multiple workstreams across concurrent projects
Comfortable in a desktop-based engineering role with limited site travel
Must be based in Central or Eastern Time Zones
Preferred
Experience acting as an Owner's Engineer / Owner's Representative
Background supporting both Solar PV and BESS projects
Prior experience in contract or matrixed project environments
Familiarity with grid interconnection and utility coordination
