InternHarris Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to join their Portland team for the 2026 Summer Internship. Interns will gain exposure to industrial facility projects across various industries and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on engineering projects.

Responsibilities
Provide support to the lead Electrical Engineers in tasks such as AutoCAD drafting, editing drawing/design specifications, engineering analysis and testing, field investigations, developing equipment lists and panel schedules, and final calculation checking
Review drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and power plans for quality control
Work issues across multiple functions including mechanical, electrical, piping & instrumentation diagrams, and marketing
Present an end-of-internship overview of completed objectives, tasks, and projects
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in an Electrical or Architectural Engineering academic program at an ABET-accredited institution with an expected graduation date in 2027
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Ability to work in Harris Group's Portland office and be willing to travel off site on occasion
Excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
