Responsibilities

Design and implement custom features for the UEFI BIOS
Debug complex firmware issues
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring up the system, validate the platform, and triage issues

Required

BS/MS in EE/CE/CS, or equivalent industry experience
Strong C/C++ programming skills, including scripting in Bash and Python, are essential
Gain an understanding of the AMI Aptio V and EDK2 development, as well as industry-standard specifications like ACPI, IPMI, PCIe, SMBIOS, and UEFI

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment
Expertise in server platform interfaces, including PCIe, I2C/I3C, SPI, PMBus, UART, GPIO, PECI/APML, and Ethernet controllers
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across HW/FW/SW boundaries, with effective collaboration with vendor and hardware teams
Understanding the system security features, including secure/verified boot, firmware signing, TPM/ROT, SPDM, vulnerability management, and hardening at scale
Collaborate with BMC and work on platform enablement. Familiarity with RAS concepts (fault management, telemetry, recovery)
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve technical and schedule challenges proactively
