1+ years expS2 Capital is a real estate investment platform focused on performance across multifamily and industrial sectors. The Analyst will support the Investments team in all aspects of acquisitions and asset management, overseeing the investment life cycle from acquisition to disposition.

Responsibilities
Underwrite potential multifamily and industrial acquisitions by analyzing historical financial statements and performing market research and analysis
Coordinating due diligence and closing processes
Create and prepare financial models and presentation materials for new and existing assets
Works in tandem with property management and operations teams to transition properties before closing
Conduct Ad-Hoc market research and reporting for potential new market acquisitions
Monitor and coordinate the execution of property business plans to optimize asset performance
Coordinate lender communication through the collection and distribution of monthly draw packages
Procure lien waivers/check copies from vendors and sub-contractors for draw package submission
Assist Asset Managers in underwriting, rent roll analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc reporting
Produce weekly financial and leasing analysis reports
Compile market surveys and submarket reports as needed
Collect and distribute monthly/quarterly financial packages to respective lenders and equity partners
Maintain and update portfolio construction budget tracker
Review general ledgers and properly code invoices to respective accounts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a major in real estate, business, finance, economics, or related field
High proficiency in financial modeling
Strong Microsoft Office skills; primarily Excel
Team-oriented, deadline-driven individual with strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
Professional demeanor and positive attitude
Preferred
1-2 years relevant experience in finance or commercial real estate strongly preferred
