New Grad, Entry LevelMain Line Health is seeking a Perioperative Technician to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with surgical staff to provide care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery, while also managing equipment and maintaining the operating room. Responsibilities
Work with Surgical Technicians, OR Nurses, Anesthesia and Surgeons to provide personal and environmental care and comfort to patients undergoing surgery
Be knowledgeable in both the operation and care of specialized instruments and equipment used by our Surgical and Anesthesia team
Responsible for positioning, lifting and/or transferring patients as well as cleaning and sterilizing the Operating Room and OR equipment after each procedure
Help transport specimens, manage inventory and maintain adequate supply levels
Qualification
Required
Previous Operating Room, anesthesia tech or related Health Care experience required
High School diploma or GED required
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required
