Data Privacy Cybersecurity Attorney
Holon Law Partners is a fully remote law firm that supports organizations navigating complexities in regulated industries and emerging technology. They are seeking a Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Attorney to advise clients on privacy and cybersecurity across various sectors, focusing on data responsibility and AI adoption.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on U.S. and international data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, including governance, compliance, and risk management
Partner with clients and internal teams on AI adoption, data use, algorithmic risk, and responsible technology deployment
Support privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate transactions, financings, and commercial agreements
Design and review privacy policies, data governance frameworks, and internal compliance programs
Advise on incident response planning, breach management, and regulatory engagement
Monitor regulatory guidance and enforcement related to privacy, cybersecurity, and AI, and assess impact on client operations
Collaborate with firm leadership on thought leadership, client education, and strategic initiatives related to privacy and emerging technology
Qualification
Required
JD from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing
Substantial experience in data privacy and/or cybersecurity law
Strong understanding of U.S. and global data protection regimes
Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into practical legal guidance
Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and work directly with senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills
Self-directed, organized, and comfortable operating in a fully remote, high-trust environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with professional discipline and sound judgment
Preferred
Experience advising on or supporting AI-related products, services, or governance frameworks strongly preferred
