Commercial Mechanical Project Manager
Confidential is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Mechanical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex mechanical construction projects within the commercial sector. This role involves managing all phases of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget
Develop accurate construction estimates
Manage project schedules by using various software programs like ProCore to track progress and adjust plans proactively
Oversee procurement processes including contracts, subcontractor agreements, and material ordering while ensuring compliance with project specifications
Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers to review blueprints and schematics for accurate implementation on site
Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of work
Utilize tools like ProCore document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and daily reports to maintain clear communication channels
Conduct regular site inspections, review progress against schedules, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track
Collaborate closely with project teams on design build projects
Facilitate effective communication between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in heavy commercial mechanical construction management with a strong understanding of construction site operations
Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore and other relevant tools
Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, design build and construction estimating practices
Hands-on experience with site work and creating on-site safety plans
Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and coordination
Strong understanding of construction safety standards and quality assurance procedures on job sites
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines
Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple projects
Preferred
Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields are advantageous
A background in civil or mechanical engineering is a plus
