The State of Florida is seeking a Computer Applications Support Manager to oversee the functionality and integrity of technical systems maintained by the Crime Information Bureau. This role involves prioritizing projects, planning workloads, and coordinating technical implementations in conjunction with various partners.

Responsibilities

Prioritizing, planning, coordinating, and participating in the research, evaluation, development, and implementation of process and technical changes related to the Computerized Criminal History Repository and Biometric Identification Solution system

Participating in the overall management, planning and policy development of the Repository Services Unit, the Bureau and Division

Acts as liaison with internal and external customers regarding criminal justice data

Prioritizing, planning, coordinating, and participating in annual, bi-annual, quarterly, and as needed system audits and synchronizations; and

Preparing periodic performance evaluations on employees and makes recommendations for promotions pertinent to the Section

Required

At least 2 years of experience with criminal justice systems

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
