Responsibilities
Analyze incident and request data to identify patterns and opportunities for automation or process improvement
Collaborate with other senior engineers and partner teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and deliver robust, maintainable code
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions and integrations across SharePoint, ServiceNow, MS Teams, Exchange, Slack, and Jira to enable self-service and reduce manual escalations
Build deployment packages for Software Center and manage Group Policy Objects
Build and maintain AI agents and MCP servers to supported platforms
Code review scripts, agents, workflows, and connectors using PowerShell, Power Automate, GitHub, and other relevant tools
Create and review technical documentation, knowledge articles, and self-service resources for end users and partner teams
Participate in the incident response process for complex or high-impact issues that require engineering intervention
Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and reporting for supported platforms and services
Stay current with platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies in the collaboration and automation space
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role supporting enterprise collaboration platforms (SharePoint, MS Teams, ServiceNow, Jira, Exchange, Slack, or similar)
Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field, or equivalent working experience
3+ years of experience with deploying apps with Microsoft Software Center
3+ years of experience managing Group Policy Objects
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and deliver sustainable solutions
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automations, scripts, or integrations using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar tools
Experience with source control systems (specifically GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with ITSM processes and experience working with incident, request, and change management workflows
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), ServiceNow development, or Jira administration
Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and platform-specific SDKs for integration work
Familiarity with cloud computing environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with AI Agents and how they work
Knowledge of security best practices for collaboration platforms and automation
