Information Technology Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

Coordinate multifaceted project activities and act as the central point of contact for team members, stakeholders, and partners. Ensure alignment, momentum, and smooth communication across the board
Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and documentation. Prepare regular status updates, milestone summaries, and reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
Schedule, organize, and lead effective project meetings. Prepare agendas, document outcomes, and ensure discussion leads to clear decisions and action
Assist with project plans, milestone tracking, risk identification, and issues management. Help maintain structure, clarity, and predictability throughout the project lifecycle
Provide day‑to‑day support to project team members. Facilitate communication, help streamline processes, and keep everyone aligned toward shared goals
Partner with executives, sponsors, resource managers, and cross‑functional leaders. Help drive decision‑making, escalate issues, and support change management and communication strategies
Assist in resource allocation and forecasting. Track budget and spending forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
Identify improvement opportunities, support lessons‑learned activities, and help drive ongoing process excellence

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
2–4 years hands-on experience coordinating IT projects
Experience supporting moderately complex projects from initiation to completion
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
Experience working with Smartsheet

Preferred

Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
Experience with budgets, business cases, and status reporting
CAPM and/or SAFe certification (highly desirable)
Familiarity with tools like MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet
Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, SDLC, or enterprise software environments
A collaborative, enthusiastic, and growth-oriented mindset
