Responsibilities

Maintain coverage of one or more property sectors within the REIT universe
Make stock recommendations
Conduct macroeconomic and real estate research
Analyze public documents and SEC filings
Develop and maintain valuation models for your coverage universe
Attend on-site property tours
Attend industry conferences
Evaluate management teams
Fulfill various other portfolio and investment management responsibilities

Required

5-10 years of experience analyzing REIT equity securities, required
REIT Industry experience, required
A strong academic background/Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
A solid understanding of Financial/Statistical Analysis and Accounting
Concrete analytical abilities
Strong knowledge of Excel including modeling
Strong organizational skills and ability to perform well both independently and within a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong quantitative abilities
High degree of proficiency in Windows, Excel, Bloomberg, Word and PowerPoint is essential

Preferred

MBA or CFA a plus
