Responsibilities
Design and development of new products
Stress and fatigue analysis of new or sustaining products
Writing or checking of product development test plans
Oversight of product development tests
Development and oversight of product failure analysis evaluations
Interaction with customers and suppliers as required
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands on ability
Working knowledge of personal computers and associated Microsoft Office software
2D/3D CAD experience
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively in a team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter and self-directed in daily activities
ITAR regulations require applicant must be U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident
Preferred
Autodesk Inventor experience
Aircraft pneumatic valve design experience
CFD software experience
FEA and Damage Tolerance software experience (AFGRrow or NASGRO) highly desired
Matlab/Simulink experience
TKSolver experience
