Training and Technology Coordinator
The Tennessee Caregiver Coalition is dedicated to fostering a culture of equity and inclusion, and they are seeking a Training and Technology Coordinator to manage their statewide training program and registry. This role involves recruiting, training, and supporting respite providers while also providing technical support and promoting caregiver awareness through outreach efforts.

Implement the •National Respite Care Provider Training• for paid and volunteer respite providers using the Talent LMS platform
Develop and deliver monthly continuing education sessions for providers and volunteers, covering topics such as dementia care, sensory-friendly practices, and safety protocols
Collaborate with partner agencies and experts to create supplemental training materials and videos on caregiving-related topics
Track training completion, competency assessments, and certification renewals
Actively recruit paid and volunteer respite providers statewide, with an emphasis on rural and underserved communities
Guide providers through the training, background check, and onboarding process
Maintain ongoing contact with all individuals who complete training to ensure they are successfully added to the registry, secure respite care positions, and remain engaged in the field
Monitor provider retention and develop strategies to keep providers active and committed to serving caregivers
Serve as the primary administrator for the Talent LMS training platform
Oversee the functionality, updates, and data accuracy of the Tennessee Respite Care Registry in partnership with the University of Nebraska
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support to providers, volunteers, and caregivers accessing the registry or training platform
Work with statewide partners, including state agencies, universities, and community organizations, to promote the registry and training opportunities
Assist in outreach campaigns to raise awareness of respite resources among caregivers and potential providers
Conduct monthly outreach trips, including one overnight trip per month, to promote the Respite Care Registry and the National Respite Care Provider Training at conferences, community events, and partner meetings
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to project planning and evaluation activities
Track and maintain accurate data for all programs, ensuring:
100% of volunteer, caregiver, and provider participation data is entered within 24 hours of events or interactions
Volunteer, provider, and program reports are submitted with 100% accuracy
Provide regular program updates for board reporting by:
Submitting 2–4 bullet points monthly that highlight program outcomes, wins, and activities
Ensuring updates are written in the third person and submitted by noon on the second Monday of each month
Maintaining a 100% on-time submission rate for monthly updates
Facilitate surveys of volunteers, caregivers, and providers twice per year, ensuring:
Surveys are administered on schedule
Survey data is compiled and submitted to the Programs and Development Director within two weeks of collection
Assist in organizing one large Caregiver Appreciation event in November, securing at least five sponsors/partners for event support
Conduct at least 12 presentations per year to raise awareness of TCC services and recruit volunteers
Represent TCC at at least six community events per year to network and build relationships with partner organizations
Other duties as assigned
This position includes a six-month probationary period, with:
90-day performance review to assess progress and identify areas for support
Six-month final review to evaluate long-term fit and success in the role
Continuation beyond the probationary period is contingent on meeting the above performance expectations
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in program coordination, training, or workforce development
Strong technology skills, including learning management systems (LMS), database management, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience working with diverse populations, including rural and underserved communities
Preferred
Experience in caregiver support, respite services, or disability/aging services
Familiarity with the National Respite Care Provider Training curriculum
Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy best practices
Background in volunteer coordination and adult learning principles
