Heavy Equipment Territory Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Multi-state territory assignment and responsibility for a significant number of products and customers
Partner closely with Viably’s existing sales team to maximize sales and promote market expansion
Increase sales to end-users emphasizing technical advantages over competitor products
Facilitate stationary equipment sales while working closely with sales engineers and project managers
Develop strategies and tactical plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for region
Analyze market data to identify new or expanded areas of business opportunity
Provide first-line product and customer support to become the main liaison between manufacturer and customer
Work with existing customers to enable ongoing preventative maintenance inspections and equipment training
Utilize Salesforce CRM, Acumatica, and other software tools to streamline the sales process, enable accurate reporting and improve customer support
Supply ongoing technical information and advice on Viably product portfolio to customers
Provide machine demonstrations, set ups and customer trainings on equipment and components across a variety of applications to support sales
Effectively communicate customer needs, activities, opportunities, market needs and other relevant information to Senior Area Sales Manager and team on a consistent basis
Qualification
Required
3+ years equipment sales of agricultural, recycling, construction or industrial machinery
Ability to travel regularly and frequently
Experience with industrial recycling equipment - both Stationary and Mobile (Grinders, Shredders, Screeners, and Sorting) - is a plus
An inherent and above-average commitment to customer service
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, confidence and competency when resolving complex issues
Requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record & valid US Driver's License
Requires travel, working, and driving outdoors in various climates/temperatures and the possibility of sitting for an extended period
Able to develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of the applications of Viably's products
Energetic, highly motivated personality and organized team player able to easily form professional relationships
Computer skills and a comfort with technology is required
Excellent communication skills with ability to confidently convey information to both technically trained and non-technical customers
High-level interpersonal skills sufficient to guide and negotiate with potential customers toward recommended product solutions
Self-motivated, self-directed and self-managed with excellent organizational and time management skills to perform productively with minimal supervision
Inherent perseverance to consistently engage and follow up with open leads to convert and close them into won sales opportunities
Demonstrated achievement in sales, business development or product management
Ability to research and absorb new, unfamiliar industry and product information with the ability to convert it verbally and visually into effective sales information or presentations that engage customers in our brand voice
