Statistical Data Analyst
Leidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers. They are seeking a self-motivated Statistical Data Analyst to provide technical and analytic support by employing advanced statistical methods and data visualization tools to uncover patterns and trends.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Intelligence Analysts to build basic statistical models, test hypotheses, and interpret, summarize, visualize, and succinctly report data findings
Analyze large, complex data sets to extract meaningful and actionable insights
Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
Analyze crime, terrorism, and national security datasets to identify signals and patterns, produce structured threat assessments and Finished Intelligence
Field data support requests from Intelligence Analysts and ensure proper data utilization in intelligence products
Qualification
Required
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Behavioral or Social Science with 8 – 12 years of relevant experience or a Master's 6 – 10 years in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Behavioral or Social Science
Experience with statistical modeling: Poisson Distribution (or count-based models), time-series or panel/ tabular data, specifically with spatial-temporal dimensions, and Predictive and Regression modeling
Demonstrated experience leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau or Power BI)
Knowledge of all-source intelligence, including SIGINT, and/or HUMINT collection reports
Familiarity with conveying the results of statistical analysis to both academic and general audiences
Preferred
Experience with R or Python
Experience with statistical software tools (e.g., SPSS, STATA, or SAS)
Familiarity with cable writing styles and classified client databases, including specific targeting tools
Experience with producing Finished Intelligence or structured threat assessments
Familiarity with key US foreign policy, national security Counterterrorism (CT) and local/federal law enforcement objectives or threat-related datasets
Knowledge of IC policies and procedures
