The Cash Application Supervisor oversees daily operations of the cash application function, ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments and compliance with company policies while leading a team of specialists.

Responsibilities

Supervise, and mentor Cash Application Specialists, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Oversee accurate application of customer payments across multiple ERP systems; resolve unapplied cash and discrepancies promptly
Support reconciliations and reporting for cash application activities; ensure deadlines are met
Monitor cash application accuracy and timeliness; provide insights to the Cash Application Manager
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve efficiency within Cash Application processes, leveraging GBS best practices
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Cash Application Manager

Qualification

Cash application experienceERP systems experienceO2C process knowledgeSupervisory experienceMS Excel proficiencyAnalytical mindsetAttention to detailCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Minimum 3 years of AR/cash application experience
Understanding of O2C processes and best practices within a GBS environment

Preferred

1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics)
Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business-related field (or equivalent experience)
