Director of Performance Marketing
Nimble is seeking a data-driven and innovative Director of Performance Marketing to lead their paid growth strategy end to end. This role will oversee full-funnel performance marketing across various channels and work closely with e-commerce, product, creative, and content leadership to ensure alignment around growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
Own performance marketing strategy across Amazon and DTC
Lead paid media across Amazon Ads, Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, affiliates, SEO, and emerging channels
Own and manage media budgets with clear accountability to revenue, ROAS, CAC, and contribution margin
Set growth targets and KPIs; track performance daily and course-correct quickly
Build and maintain a structured testing roadmap across creative, audiences, bidding, landing pages, and funnel stages
Lead advertising and performance optimization for Amazon with a focus on traffic, conversion, and share growth
Partner with marketplace and retail teams to align media, content, promotions, and launches
Use performance insights to inform assortment strategy, launch timing, and seasonal planning
Partner closely with creative, brand, and social teams to develop performance-first concepts
Translate performance data into clear, actionable creative briefs
Establish tight feedback loops between paid media, organic social, onsite conversion, and product storytelling
Ensure assets are delivered on time and optimized for performance
Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting
Forecast spend, revenue, and efficiency across channels
Allocate and reallocate budget based on performance and business priorities
Provide clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership
Serve as the primary lead for external media, lifecycle, and SEO agencies
Set direction, review performance, and hold partners accountable to KPIs and pacing
Manage agency scopes, contracts, and quarterly planning
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing internal performance marketing team
Work closely with e-commerce, product, and operations to align demand generation with inventory planning and launches
Partner with lifecycle and CRM teams to improve retention and lifetime value
Champion a test-and-learn culture grounded in data and speed
Qualification
Required
7+ years of performance marketing experience in e-commerce
Deep experience with Amazon, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and platform analytics tools
Proven track record of scaling profitable e-commerce revenue
Strong analytical and forecasting skills
Command of testing frameworks, attribution, and funnel strategy
Experience managing creative pipelines for paid social and video assets
Agency management and in-house leadership experience
Strong communicator with ability to align cross-functional partners
Ability to drive clarity, alignment, and accountability across teams
