Customer Engineer

As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer feedback into actionable insights to improve the Biofire Smart Gun, while supporting customer success through documentation and user engagement.

Responsibilities

Translating qualitative customer experiences into structured, engineering-ready reports, investigations, and actionable recommendations
Conducting hands-on product testing of new features and upcoming releases, evaluating functionality through the lens of real customer use, identifying friction points early, and providing feedback to improve usability, training, and product readiness prior to public launch
Supporting Customer Success by drafting response templates, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and documentation that reduce the need for engineering escalation
Participating in customer interviews, demonstrations, and field engagements to gather firsthand insights into usage patterns, friction points, and unmet needs
Hosting live-fire demonstration events and maintaining Range Safety Officer (RSO) certification to ensure safe, compliant, and informative user training and feedback capture
