Responsibilities
Review property management monthly reports: investigate issues, review backup when needed, work with property management company to correct errors, provide analysis for in-house Asset Manager
Track income and vacancy numbers, flagging issues for Asset Manager
Identify areas for improving operations
Review monthly rent rolls: identify issues, obtain clarifications, provide updates to Asset Manager
Work with in-house Asset Manager and accounting staff to identify problem areas and resolutions
Track and monitor cash flow, debt balances, and interest rates
Prepare REO schedules
Prepare annual RPIEs
Prepare analytics on property performance
Qualification
Required
5 years relevant experience
Minimum Bachelors Degree in related field
Excellent analytical skills a must
Must be able to communicate well and work with others
Working knowledge of real estate accounting and general accounting principles
Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word and Outlook-Calendar
Must have excellent verbal and written communication as well as organizational and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks and projects with limited direction and time constraints. Accuracy is imperative
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Must be a good culture fit: Professional presence, open-minded, positive attitude, a team player and ability to work with employees in various departments and levels of management
Interact professionally with all office and field staff
Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and material
Preferred
Knowledge of Yardi Voyager preferred
