Supply Chain - Summer Intern

Responsibilities

When required, supporting Buyers on coordinating, triaging and processing procurement transactions, such as
Requisitions and Purchase Orders that meet business requirements
Supporting completion of Procurement related forms (supplier registrations etc.)
Creating, revising and managing Blanket Purchase Agreements within Oracle
File management and clean up
When required and if possible, assisting/supporting the Competitive Bidding process (RFP/RFQ) and contract administration in accordance with EPCOR Policies
Monitoring, responding, and/or actioning all inquiries generated through the
Department shared e-mail account(s)
Providing timely and responsive customer service to customers, resolving issues and
Advancing complex concerns as required
Providing supplemental support and emergency back-up for other department
Administrative function (i.e. inventory and warehousing)
Advising and making recommendations to Stakeholders with respect to potential
Procurement risks and support Stakeholders on the purchase to pay (P2P) process
Assist in SharePoint site management and new content creation, such as a supplier performance program
EPCOR USA Spend Data Categorization. The Student will use their data-digging skills to analyze and determine spend patters and trends across our United States operations to help information a strategic sourcing long term plan. This involves data analysis, data mining, categorizing spend and understanding our operations, suppliers and contractors. At the end of the term, the Student will be required to provide a report and presentation on their findings and recommendations

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled, or a recent graduate of a Business or Commerce related program
A high school diploma or GED is required
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams
To join EPCOR, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be legally authorized to work in the United States
