Lead Coordinator, Accounts Payable/Expense Reviewer

Responsibilities
Conduct a comprehensive review and audit of all online expense reports using the Deltek module; ensure adherence to KPMG policies, procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) guidelines
Train new employees on expense guidelines to ensure compliance with both the firm's standards and FAR regulations; provide necessary support and guidance to help navigate the expense reporting system effectively
Foster a culture of high performance within the expense report team by providing ongoing training and guidance; share best practices and offer support to enhance their understanding of compliance requirements and improve their performance
Independently identify instances of potential fraud or misuse of expenses; promptly report such cases to the appropriate department, such as the Government Contract Compliance (GCC), along with supporting evidence and recommendations for resolution
Identify inefficiencies, problems, or gaps in processes, technology, or procedures related to expense reporting; propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the expense review process
Utilize knowledge and independent judgment to address and resolve issues raised by employees regarding expense reports; apply firm policies and procedures to provide appropriate solutions and ensure compliance
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum five years of recent Accounts Payable experience; preferably with a government contractor
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to respond to questions and resolve escalated issues promptly, while providing exceptional customer service

Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
Experience with Costpoint 8.0/8.2 and Deltek Time & Expense 9.0 or 10 preferred
