Responsibilities
Teach an online course in Tax Planning and Financial Regulation
Modify the existing syllabus and vet the current textbook
Record lecture videos and design assessments
Organize the course within Canvas, Rutgers’s Learning Management System
Check for student questions daily and respond within 24 hours
Make weekly announcements regarding course content and upcoming deadlines
Provide timely feedback on student work
Facilitate student interactions and offer virtual office hours as needed
Comply with grade submission policies and deadlines
Qualification
Required
Applicants must possess an advanced degree in finance and/or CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) certification, in addition to a bachelor's degree
Proven sustained engagement as a full-time professional or consultant in the areas of finance applicable to this position is required for future teaching assignments
Preferred
Evidence of excellence in teaching, especially in an online environment, is preferred
Applied tax planning experience is desired
Teaching ratings, if available
