Reentry Services Provider Support Specialist (Term-Limited)

They are seeking a Reentry Services Provider Support Specialist to support the implementation of reentry services, engage with stakeholders, and manage contracts related to Medicaid services for correctional facilities.

Responsibilities
Support implementation of the Reentry Services component of the 1115 waiver, in alignment with the goals of the Reentry State Planning Grant
Work with stakeholders, contractors, correctional facilities, HCPF staff and other state agencies to conduct stakeholder engagement on reentry services throughout the lifecycle of the Reentry State Planning Grant
Help design and provide technical assistance and provider support to correctional facilities on reentry services and billing
Support implementation of inter-agency policy and procedures between HCPF, contractors, state agencies, correctional facilities and stakeholders
Contribute to the implementation of the Reentry demonstration processes, guidelines, rules, and standards in alignment with the Reentry State Planning grant requirements and broader 1115 waiver requirements
Manage contracts and supports the development of reimbursement processes for 1115 Reentry Services
Term-limited position funded through 7/31/2026 with potential for extension
Qualification
Required
Six (6) total years of professional experience in criminal justice, behavioral health, medical billing, public policy, stakeholder engagement, or an occupational field closely related
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, Health Policy, Public Policy, Public Health, or a related field AND Two (2) total years of professional experience in criminal justice, behavioral health, medical billing, public policy, stakeholder engagement, or an occupational field closely related
All positions at HCPF are security sensitive positions and require that the individuals undergo a criminal record background check as a condition of employment

Preferred
Previous relevant professional state experience
Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Professional experience with: Medicaid reimbursement strategies, including billing and cost reporting
Criminal justice or reentry services
Engaging external stakeholders with competing interests
Presenting and explaining technical information
Project management (including use of Smartsheets or another project management tool)
