The Recruiting & HR Specialist role involves leading full-cycle recruiting for frontline and skilled trades roles, managing job postings, coordinating candidate selection processes, and facilitating onboarding activities.

Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting for primarily frontline and skilled trades roles (e.g., electricians, pipefitters, sheet metal, steel plant positions), as well as select professional roles such as project managers
Manage job postings through ADP and associated job boards (e.g., Indeed, ZipRecruiter), ensuring accurate, compelling role descriptions
Coordinate and execute candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes to fill approximately 15 concurrent openings across multiple portfolio companies
Facilitate new hire onboarding activities for employees based in the Greensboro office and associated operations
Serve as backup for payroll processing, learning and supporting existing payroll workflows as needed
Assist with annual benefits enrollment, including employee communications and administrative support for healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement programs
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong track record supporting industrial, skilled trades, or blue-collar roles (e.g., electricians, pipefitters, plumbing, sheet metal, steel/plant positions)
Experience managing end-to-end recruiting for a broad mix of roles, including frontline field positions and office-based roles such as project managers
Demonstrated stability and progression in prior roles, with consistent tenure rather than frequent job changes
Background working in or recruiting for industrial, construction, or similar environments where field/service and plant workforces are common
Willingness and ability to work fully on-site, supporting a largely Greensboro-based operation and engaging directly with hiring managers and employees
Openness to learning and taking on broader HR responsibilities beyond recruiting, including onboarding, payroll backup, and benefits/annual enrollment support
