Responsibilities
Preparing and completing assigned reports (Datacalls) with various agencies and states
Read, interpret, and apply reporting requirements from states and regulatory agencies
Complete surcharge reporting and process related payments across legal entities
Manage and process state assessments for assigned jurisdictions
Monitor and evaluate regulatory updates to ensure ongoing compliance
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual work
Maintain accurate and high quality data to meet regulatory and internal reporting standards
Produce data pulls, reports, and research for internal departments
Communicate with auditors, state agencies, and external partners regarding reporting inquiries
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or equivalent experience in business, finance, mathematics or a related field
2-5 years experience in working with data, insurance, and financial reporting
Experience or strong interest in insurance regulatory reporting
Ability to read and interpret state and agency reporting instructions
Interest in developing data mining skills and learning new reporting tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL, SAS, or similar tools is a plus
Ability to identify and resolve data or reporting discrepancies
Curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative, growth oriented mindset
