The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end performance testing, analysis, and optimization of enterprise-grade .NET and database-intensive applications.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with architects, developers, DBAs, and business analysts to define performance testing objectives
Establish key performance metrics and SLAs, including response times, throughput, database latency, and resource utilization
Define end-to-end performance test scenarios under varying load conditions
Develop and parameterize LoadRunner scripts simulating real-world user activity across .NET web applications, APIs, and database-heavy workflows
Design SQL Server–specific performance scenarios, including complex queries, batch processing, and high-volume data ingestion
Integrate automated performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and schedule recurring test executions
Coordinate with infrastructure teams to configure application and database test environments (IIS, .NET versions, SQL Server instances)
Implement monitoring solutions, including Windows PerfMon, LoadRunner monitors, SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, and .NET profilers
Execute load, stress, and soak tests using LoadRunner Controller
Monitor application and database performance simultaneously to identify bottlenecks
Track ASP.NET performance indicators (GC, threading, memory) and SQL Server health metrics (locks, deadlocks, slow queries, indexing)
Analyze performance test results across application, database, and infrastructure layers
Perform root cause analysis using LoadRunner Analysis, .NET profiling tools (Visual Studio Profiler, dotTrace), and SQL Server tools (Query Store, execution plans)
Recommend and implement performance improvements:
.NET: Code refactoring, caching strategies, async/threading optimizations, configuration tuning
SQL Server: Query and stored procedure tuning, index optimization, execution plan analysis, partitioning, and schema enhancements
Prepare comprehensive performance reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
Clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders
Stay current with advancements in LoadRunner, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure monitoring tools
Maintain and enhance performance test suites as applications evolve
Promote performance engineering best practices across teams
Qualification
Required
Oracle LoadRunner scripting and analysis
SQL Server performance tuning and optimization
.NET / .NET Core application performance engineering
Azure infrastructure monitoring and tuning
Strong experience with performance diagnostics and monitoring tools
