Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
Oversee general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, daily/weekly/monthly close tasks, and financial reporting
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all accounting activities
Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to ensure accurate financial data flow
Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and annual budget processes
Maintain and enhance accounting procedures, controls, and documentation
Identify process improvements and implement operational efficiencies
Address issues, discrepancies, and escalations in a timely, solutions‑oriented manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; financial institution experience preferred
Prior supervisory/leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting best practices, and financial reporting
Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
