Enterprise Project Management Office Lead

Responsibilities
Participate in project intake processes, providing expert Project Management guidance for both strategic and business unit projects
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organizational goals
Develop detailed project plans, outlining phases, tasks, resources, timelines, and budget estimates
Manage and oversee multiple project timelines, ensuring progress aligns with established schedules and budgets
Coordinate and manage all day-to-day project activities across core project management phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
Actively monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identifying and addressing variances to ensure projects remain on track
Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent project derailment
Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with team members and stakeholders to initiate and implement effective solutions to project challenges
Maintain clear and consistent communication with senior management and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes
Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations
Lead advanced scope management efforts, ensuring that all project changes are documented, evaluated, and approved through formal change management processes
Apply advanced business analysis skills to identify opportunities for process improvements and to ensure that project deliverables meet business needs
Continuously evaluate and enhance the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) framework to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization
Implement best practices and industry standards to improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies
Develop and deliver training materials to educate team members and stakeholders on project management processes, tools, and best practices
Mentor junior project managers and team members, fostering their development in project management skills and techniques
Contribute to the development and refinement of the PPM toolset, ensuring that tools are aligned with the organization’s project management needs
Drive the adoption and utilization of PPM tools across the organization, providing training and support as needed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Experience in overseeing and executing corporate and business unit-level strategic projects
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with project vendors
Experience in managing tasks, schedules, deliverables, and financials for project success
Expertise in risk management, including identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
Ability to ensure consistent updates and communication with stakeholders according to the stakeholder management plan
Advanced scope management and business analysis expertise
Experience in project intake processes and providing expert Project Management guidance
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
