ISC Receptionist
Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is looking for an ISC Receptionist to provide exceptional customer support and manage communication within the district. The role involves answering calls, greeting visitors, scheduling conference rooms, and maintaining various administrative tasks to ensure effective operations.

Responsibilities
Answer district calls and direct calls to appropriate personnel
Greet, assist, screen, and check in building visitors
Schedule location conference rooms
Manage weekly and monthly spreadsheets tracking building visitors
Manage and update receptionist who to call list and assist with building staff directory updates
Create, manage, and update offender profiles in the V-Soft database, flagging visitors with security alerts
Manage, update and post weekly building meeting schedule. Coordinate additional receptionist support and streamline mass badging for large gatherings
Serve as mailroom backup in tracking packages or purchase orders through the e-Finance system
Provide staff development receptionist training to substitutes for both ISC and ISC-West buildings
Work with building officer to identify potential building threats or emergency situations
Monitor technical performance of security doors, buzzers, and intercom cameras, directing issues to CFPD technology foreman as necessary
Keep abreast of all district calendar events and upcoming closures in order to properly inform callers and notify CFPD technology foreman to schedule locked doors as necessary
Have an understanding of the district campuses, buildings and departments to effectively answer questions
Answer main number calls during emergency closures
Maintain confidentiality with reports and campus emergencies
Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy
Perform related duties as assigned by Technology Services administrators
Receive and deliver packages as necessary
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED certificate
Basic knowledge and experience in receptionist, scheduling conference rooms and outstanding customer support
Effective communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills
Clear and pleasant phone personality
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Proficiency in applied technology such as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Demonstrated strong work ethic and organizational skills
Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Preferred
Fluency in Spanish
