Director of Customer Success – Healthcare & SLED

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end post-sales lifecycle from onboarding through renewal and expansion
Build and scale Customer Success strategy tailored to regulated healthcare and SLED environments
Lead and mentor CSMs, TAMs, or security-focused post-sales roles
Define success metrics tied to risk reduction, asset visibility, adoption, retention, and executive alignment
Guide adoption of:
Attack Surface Management (ASM)
Asset and network discovery
Passive discovery in clinical and OT environments
IoT, OT, and medical device security
Help customers identify and prioritize unmanaged, legacy, and high-risk devices
Translate technical insights into business, compliance, and patient-safety outcomes
Act as a trusted advisor to CISO-, CIO-, and VP-level stakeholders
Navigate complex stakeholder environments across IT Security, SOC, Clinical Engineering, and Compliance
Lead executive business reviews and manage escalations in high-risk accounts
Support customers operating under HIPAA, HITRUST, and FDA cybersecurity guidance
Assist during audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews
Balance security improvements with clinical uptime and patient care
Partner with Sales on renewals and expansions
Influence Product and Engineering roadmaps with real-world healthcare feedback
Align with Professional Services and Support for seamless delivery

Required

10+ years in Customer Success, TAM, Security Architecture, or Security Operations
Experience supporting healthcare providers, SLED, or regulated critical infrastructure
Proven engagement with CISOs, SOC leaders, Clinical Engineering, and Compliance teams
Hands-on exposure to: ASM and asset discovery, OT / IoT / medical device security, Vulnerability, exposure, or risk management programs
Working knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, FDA medical device cybersecurity
Experience supporting compliance-driven security initiatives
Executive-level communication and presence
Ability to translate technical risk into business and patient-safety narratives
Experience building or scaling Customer Success teams

Preferred

Background as a Security Architect, SOC Manager, or SecOps leader
Experience with hospital networks, clinical systems, or biomedical devices
Familiarity with passive network discovery technologies
