InternArkema is a large, international chemical company, and they are seeking an R&D Laboratory Intern to support their research and development efforts. The intern will conduct laboratory experiments, generate and interpret data, and communicate results to scientists while maintaining safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Design and prepare laboratory experiments to synthesize and/or analyze new and existing molecules and materials
Multitasks effectively and efficiently organizes routine work
Evaluates and interprets generated data with supervision
Maintains laboratory notebooks and appropriate records
Writes technical reports and communicates results to supervisor
Maintains safe laboratory practices and a strong commitment to Arkema safety culture
Qualification
Required
Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above at time of assignment
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in science/engineering (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred)
Basic classroom laboratory experience
Good organizational skills
Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
