Client Partner (Hunter Role) – Pharma and CRO (East Coast)
Persistent Systems is an AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering and Enterprise Modernization partner. They are seeking a Client Partner focused on business development and sales within the Pharma and CRO segment, responsible for driving results and managing the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
Developing new business - driving business development and sales results in assigned region in the Pharma and CRO segment
Orchestrating the end-to-end sales cycle from lead identification through close of sale
Building and Managing a qualified and healthy Sales Pipeline and coverage
Prior track record of achieving quarterly & annual booking and revenue targets
Experience in positioning and selling solutions across the Healthcare Provider IT & Digital landscape
Demonstrated success in leveraging the partner ecosystem to develop new business
Partnering Analysts & Advisors. Participation in Pharma and CRO relevant industry forums eg HIMSS
Qualification
Required
Min 12 years of experience
Developing new business - driving business development and sales results in assigned region in the Pharma and CRO segment
Orchestrating the end-to-end sales cycle from lead identification through close of sale
Building and Managing a qualified and healthy Sales Pipeline and coverage
Prior track record of achieving quarterly & annual booking and revenue targets
Experience in positioning and selling solutions across the Healthcare Provider IT & Digital landscape
Demonstrated success in leveraging the partner ecosystem to develop new business
Partnering Analysts & Advisors. Participation in Pharma and CRO relevant industry forums eg HIMSS
Prior experience in business development in the Healthcare Pharma and CRO segment
Working with the Pharma and CRO segment for the last 3 years at the minimum
Strong client and partner relationships in the Healthcare Pharma and CRO segment
Understanding of Healthcare trends and the business impact for Providers
Consultative selling approach, ability to clearly communicate the business value
Experience with structured sales methodologies
Understanding of new age technologies and relevant use cases in the Pharma and CRO space – Cloud, Mobility, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, RPA etc
Ability to team in a complex matrix environment
Strong focus on Client Service excellence
Ability to travel as needed
