Responsibilities
Lead and oversee multiple client-driven research programs at the forefront of metabolic biochemistry and biomarker development
Support the full commercial pipeline – from early scientific discussions through proposals and study design
Act as a senior scientific interface for clients across pharma, biotech and academia
Lead internal R&D initiatives to build new biomarker and assay capabilities
Qualification
Required
PhD in biochemistry or a closely related discipline
Broad, hands-on expertise in nutritional metabolism and stable isotope tracing
Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior project leadership role (Associate Director, Director or VP level)
Strong background in biomarker development and metabolic research, ideally including de novo lipogenesis (DNL) and/or protein turnover studies
Proven ability to build and manage external collaborations, with an entrepreneurial and client-focused mindset
Experience with IRMS is essential
