Law Practice

Responsibilities

Work as a team player in a collaborative environment
Interact and consult with Law Enforcement at various stages from a suspect’s arrest through the disposition of the case
Interview and assist victims and witnesses of crime through all stages of a case
Communicate and negotiate with the defense bar
Evaluate cases to determine the proper outcome to achieve justice, which may include a plea agreement, diversion, dismissal or trial
Prepare cases for contested matters including jury trials
Present evidence and advocate to a jury or trier of fact
Grow as an attorney and advocate while mentoring junior prosecutors
