Senior Director, E-commerce

The Senior Director of E-commerce will lead and accelerate E-commerce growth and performance marketing across various digital platforms while managing the E-commerce P&L and driving sustainable, profitable growth.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a holistic E-commerce strategy playbook across D2C and Pure Play channels aligned with overall Chomps business objectives
Own P&L responsibility & forecast for E-commerce, including revenue growth, profitability, and investment optimization. Drive analytics initiatives to inform key investment levers and decision making on best scale opportunities
Identify and capitalize on new & emerging E-commerce platforms, digital business models, and emerging consumer behaviors
Oversee strategy & long-term growth roadmap for Amazon, Thrive Market, Walmart.com, Target.com and other pure play partners
Foster key leadership relationships at top partners including participation in weekly meetings, QBRs and annual JBPs
Deliver excellence in digital shelf fundamentals: content, AEO, ratings & reviews, availability, pricing, and promotions
Oversee revenue driving retail media strategy and performance (e.g., Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect), ensuring efficient & maximized ROI & LTV. Work in collaboration with media and brand teams to support with full-funnel execution to optimize results
Build a best-in-class D2C omnichannel experience end to end. Oversee holistic strategy, including acquisition, site experience, conversion optimization, AEO, CRM, and retention for a strong conversion experience while balancing strategic omnichannel support to retail, brand and partnerships
Oversee E-commerce engineering initiatives and technology to enhance UX/UI and personalization
Collaborate to deliver optimized fulfillment, customer service, and operational performance to deliver a best-in-class consumer experience through the D2C touchpoint
Oversight for paid media investment strategy across Meta, Google (Search, Shopping, YouTube), TikTok, and emerging platforms
Partner with internal teams and agencies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing ecommerce team across strategy, analytics, and execution
Collaborate closely with Brand, Creative, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Business Analytics & Digital Transformation teams to ensure integrated execution
Serve as the internal E-commerce subject matter expert, data wiz and thought leader to educate and inform on E-commerce trends and learnings
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in E-commerce, digital, or omnichannel roles, preferably within CPG
Proven leadership experience managing both D2C and Pure Play E-commerce (Amazon required)
Strong P&L ownership and experience managing E-commerce profitability initiatives and growth plans
Deep understanding of E-commerce analytics, digital merchandising, and media levers
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior leader stakeholders, with strong presentation skills
Experience scaling & optimizing D2C businesses for an omnichannel growth brand
Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central & Seller Central and Amazon relationship management including Vendor Management, Advertising, and AVS/SAS
Strategic thinker with strong executional rigor and a data-driven decision maker
Strong people leader and communicator, as well as external relationship manager
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
