Responsibilities

Advise enterprise clients on data protection, global privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), cybersecurity incident response, and IT contracting matters
Draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements (DPAs), IT and SaaS contracts, privacy policies, and other technology-related agreements
Lead coordination and delivery of privacy and cybersecurity risk assessments, compliance gap analyses, and incident response strategies
Translate regulatory risk into actionable legal and technical guidance for IT, compliance, and executive teams
Partner with legal engineers and product teams to test AI-Augmented privacy and cyber risk management workflows, providing practical feedback
Work across high-volume enterprise environments, including multinational data-driven organizations, SaaS providers, and technology companies
Assist on general commercial IT contracting matters (MSAs, SaaS, cloud, and data vendor agreements) to support broader client needs
Help refine scalable privacy and cybersecurity compliance templates, IT contract review models, and playbooks in conjunction with our technology and attorney teams

Required

At least four years of relevant data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, or IT legal experience, ideally in enterprise or technology company settings
Candidates must hold a JD from a top law school and an Active Bar license, in good standing
Previous demonstrated experience in privacy and cybersecurity risk assessment, incident response, and compliance report generation
Strong understanding of global privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), cybersecurity risk management, and data lifecycle governance
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Experience with IT and data vendor contracting, and ability to handle supporting technology agreements
Familiarity or comfort working with privacy, cybersecurity, or contract management technology platforms, and eagerness to influence how legal services evolve
